Kensington Talmadge Planning Group
The Kensington/Talmadge Planning Group deals with land-use and planning matters with the communities of Kensington and Talmadge. Kensington Talmadge Community Association
he Kensington/Talmadge Community Association meets the third Wednesday during the months of September through June except for December in the Fellowship Hall of the Kensington Community Church, 4773 Marlborough Drive, beginning at 6:30 pm. A catered dinner is served, $10.00 for members, $15.00 for non-members followed by a program of either entertainment or a speaker on an issue of community interest. Dues are used to pay for the operation and maintenance of the Kensington sign and for the National Flags displayed on Adams Avenue on federal holidays. Membership is open to anyone interested.
The programs are advertised on the sign outside the Kensington Branch Library and members receive either e-mail or hard copy announcements about the programs. The president is Dr. Harold Koenig who can be reached at 619-281-9377 or by email at eaglesct@cox.net

Talmadge Community Council
The Talmadge Community Council (TCC) works on neighborhood issues and concerns in Talmadge. They meet every third Tuesday at 4725 Lucille Drive beginning at 6:30pm.

Talmadge Maintenance Assessment District
The Talmadge Maintenance Assessment District (T-MAD). In 1998 local residents banded together to create the Talmadge Maintenance Assessment District (TMAD) to restore, maintain and improve the quality of life for Talmadge residents. The City of San Diego approved the TMAD master plan on July 17, 2000. The T-MAD oversees the community's assessment district which is currently restoring the Talmadge historic gates and coordinating the improvements to the traffic circle at 49th Street and Adams Avenue. Kensington Social & Athletic Club
The Kensington Social and Athletic Club is responsible for Kensington's Memorial Day Parade, Bazar and Race and the judging of local area Holiday Spirit during the month of December.
